The Committee of 100 holds a one-hour membership luncheon the first Thursday of each month at the King Chicken at noon. Lunch is served at a cost of $10.00 per person for members. The public is invited and lunch cost is $15.00 per person for non-members. For reservations call 252-946-2285 or email laura.tetterton@beaufortedc.com. Our annual oyster roast is held in February as a thank you to our members. Current members attend the oyster roast at no charge. Events are not mandatory to attend.

King Chicken – Thursday, September 5, 2024
Please mark your calendars to join us at our next luncheon on September 5, 2024, at King Chicken. Please come in the side door on Bridge Street with the Kiwanis and Rotary signs on the door.
**Please note the location is now at to King Chicken, located at 601 Carolina Ave. Washington, NC 27889.
Our guest speakers include Carol Roop, Executive Director, Belhaven Chamber of Commerce and Dawson Tyler, Founder, Down East Preservation. We are excited to also have Kellie Hopkins from Beaufort County Department of Elections to give a brief overview and answer any questions. Everyone is welcome, so please come join us!
For reservations, please respond no later than Tuesday, September 3, at 12pm if you plan to attend. RSVP to laura.tetterton@beaufortedc.com or 252-946-2285. This is very important as it allows us to let the caterer know how many to plan for.
The cost is $10 per person for members and $15 per person for non-members(payable at the door, cash and check only) and includes lunch. All meetings begin at 12:00 noon, and we strive to end the meeting by 1:00 sharp.
